Career Office
(Building B, ground floor)

Office hours:
Monday -- Friday: 8 am – 4 pm.

First of its kind to be established in a teacher training institution, the Career Office has set itself the task to support students throughout their studies, to prepare them for finding a job after graduation and to support conscious career planning. How do we wish to achieve this? By setting up an Office, an absolute must in any institution of higher education abroad. Our most important tasks are as follows:1. Career counselling, probably the most complex line ranging from preparing students for job interviews through organising field-specific professional practices and external traineeships; giving them a hand in writing a CV, advising them on a number of issues such as dress codes and labour law to arranging meetings with potential employers 2. Studies counselling to help them understand and best use our credit-based trainings and the rather labyrinthine Neptune system supporting them. 3. Building a students’ database 4. Establishing contacts with every single primary and secondary school in Transdanubia and Budapest to operate a teachers’ jobs database 5. Establishing contacts with companies, enterprises, advertising vacancies and practice and traineeship opportunities6. Advertising temporary student jobs and foreign job opportunities through our cooperating partners 7. Coordinating our alumni organisation 8. Coordinating the career track programme
